30-Day Price Guarantee
At Hoymiles, we want you to shop with confidence. With our 30-Day Price Guarantee, if the publicly displayed selling price of the same product is reduced on the Hoymiles Official Online Store within 30 days after you place your order, you may be eligible to receive a refund of the difference.
1. Price Guarantee Period
The 30-Day Price Guarantee starts from the exact date and time your order is placed and remains valid for 30 consecutive days.
For example:
- Order placed: August 12 at 15:00
- Price Guarantee valid until: September 11 at 15:00
Any eligible price reduction occurring after the 30-day period will not qualify for a price adjustment.
2. Eligible Price Types
The Price Guarantee applies only to the publicly displayed selling price of the same product on the relevant product detail page (PDP) of the Hoymiles Official Online Store.
The publicly displayed selling price may be either the Regular Selling Price or the Public Promotional Selling Price.
Regular Selling Price – the regular price at which the product is publicly offered for sale.
Public Promotional Selling Price – a promotional price publicly displayed and available to all customers.
2.1 Regular Selling Price
The regular selling price publicly displayed on the applicable product detail page.
Example:
€1,999
If such regular selling price is later reduced to:
€1,799
within the Price Guarantee period, the €200 difference may be eligible for a refund.
2.2 Public Promotional Selling Price
A publicly displayed promotional selling price shown on the applicable product detail page together with an original or crossed-out price.
Example:
€2,299€1,999
In this case, €1,999 is the applicable selling price.
If such price is reduced to and product price is later displayed as:
€2,299€1,799
the eligible price difference is:
€1,999 − €1,799 = €200
The crossed-out or reference price of €2,299 is not applicable selling price and therefore is not used to calculate the price adjustment.
3. Eligible Price Display Location
For the purposes of the 30-Day Price Guarantee, the applicable product price must be publicly displayed on the relevant product detail page (PDP) of the Hoymiles Official Online Store.
Only prices displayed directly on the applicable product detail page will be considered when determining an eligible price adjustment.
This includes:
- The regular selling price
- A publicly displayed promotional selling price shown together with an original or crossed-out price.
The relevant product detail page is the sole reference for determining an eligible product price under this Price Guarantee Policy.
4. Prices and Promotions Not Accepted as Evidence
Prices or promotional information displayed outside the relevant product detail page (PDP)are not considered eligible evidence for the purposes of the 30-Day Price Guarantee.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Advertising banners on third-party websites
- Google Ads or other online advertising
- Social media advertisements or posts
- EDM or email marketing banners
- Affiliate or influencer content
- Promotional banners that do not display the applicable price directly on the relevant product detail page
- Screenshots, cached pages, or other materials that do not allow Hoymiles to verify the applicable price on the relevant product detail page
Hoymiles may verify the applicable price directly through the Hoymiles Official Online Store and is not required to accept external advertisements, screenshots, emails, banners, or other third-party materials as evidence of an eligible price reduction.
Example: EDM Banner
You purchase a product for:
€2,299€1,999
Later, you receive an EDM showing:
Special Offer: €1,799
However, the relevant product detail page on the Hoymiles Official Online Store still displays:
€2,299€1,999
The €1,799 price shown in the EDM is not eligible for the Price Guarantee because it is not the publicly displayed selling price on the relevant product detail page.
No price adjustment will therefore be made based on the EDM price.
Example: Advertising Banner
A third-party website displays a Hoymiles advertising banner showing:
€1,699
However, the corresponding product detail page on the Hoymiles Official Online Store displays:
€2,299€1,999
The €1,699 advertising price is not considered an eligible price under the Price Guarantee.
The applicable reference price remains €1,999, as displayed on the relevant Hoymiles product detail page.
5. Excluded Discounts and Promotions
The following discounts, promotions, and offers are not considered eligible price reductions under the 30-Day Price Guarantee:
- Coupon codes and promotional codes
- Affiliate, influencer, or partner discount codes
- Newsletter or subscriber discount codes
- Personalized or targeted discounts
- Bundle discounts or bundle-specific offers
- Flash Sale prices
- Limited-time coupon promotions
- Discounts subject to minimum purchase requirements
- Gift-with-purchase promotions
- Individual customer offers
- Other discounts that are not reflected as a publicly displayed product selling price on the relevant product detail page
The Price Guarantee therefore applies to publicly displayed product selling prices on the relevant product detail page, but does not apply to additional discounts obtained through a coupon, promotional code, bundle, Flash Sale, or other special promotional mechanism.
However, if a coupon code was used on the original order, the original coupon discount rate may be taken into account when calculating an eligible price adjustment resulting from a subsequent reduction in the publicly displayed product price. Please refer to Clause 6.3 below for an example.
6. Price Guarantee Examples
6.1 Regular Selling Price Reduction – Eligible
You purchase a HiBattery 4020 AC for:
€1,999
Ten days later, the publicly displayed selling price on the relevant product detail page is reduced to:
€1,799
The eligible price adjustment is:
€1,999 − €1,799 = €200
You may therefore be eligible to receive a €200 refund.
6.2 Public Promotional Price Reduction – Eligible
At the time of purchase, the product is displayed as:
€2,299€1,999
Fifteen days later, the product is publicly displayed as:
€2,299€1,799
The eligible price difference is:
€1,999 − €1,799 = €200
You may therefore be eligible for a €200 price adjustment.
The original crossed-out price of €2,299 is not considered when calculating the refund.
Example 2 – Price Reduced Directly from the Original Price
At the time of purchase, the product price is displayed as:
€2,299
Fifteen days later, the product price is publicly reduced to:
€2,299€1,799
The eligible price difference is:
€2,299 − €1,799 = €500
You may therefore be eligible for a €500 price adjustment.
In this case, because there was no promotional price between €2,299 and €1,799, the difference is calculated directly between the purchase price of €2,299 and the later publicly displayed promotional price of €1,799.
6.3 Promotional Price Purchased with a Coupon Code – Eligible
You purchase a product during a public promotion:
Regular Selling Price:
€2,299
Public Promotional Selling Price: €1,999
You then use a 10% discount coupon code at checkout.
Your actual product purchase amount is:
€1,999 × 90% = €1,799.10
Later, within the 30-Day Price Guarantee period, the publicly displayed promotional price of the same product is reduced to:
€2,299€1,799
The coupon code itself is not considered an eligible price reduction. However, because the coupon was used on the original order, the original coupon discount rate is applied when calculating the eligible price adjustment.
The calculation is:
Refund = Original Product Order Amount − (New Promotional Price × Original Coupon Discount Rate)
In this example:
€1,799.10 − (€1,799 × 90%) = €180.00
Therefore, you may be eligible to receive a €180 refund.
The purpose of this calculation is to maintain the same discount rate that was applied to the original order while adjusting the order price to reflect the subsequent reduction in the public promotional price.
6.4 New Coupon Code Introduced After Purchase – Not Eligible
You purchase a product for:
€1,999
After your purchase, Hoymiles introduces a new 10% coupon code that can be used for future purchases of the same product.
When applied to a new order, the coupon reduces the product price from €1,999 to:
€1,799.10
This €1,799.10 price is not eligible for the Price Guarantee because it is available only through a coupon code introduced after the original purchase and applies to a new order.
The Price Guarantee does not apply to discounts that are introduced after the original purchase and are available exclusively through a new coupon or promotional code.
This is different from the situation described in Section 6.3, where a coupon code was already available and used as part of the original purchase.
6.5 Bundle Promotion – Not Eligible
You purchase a HiBattery 4020 AC separately for:
€1,999
Later, Hoymiles offers a bundle containing the same product together with additional accessories at a discounted bundle price.
The bundle price is not eligible for the Price Guarantee because the original purchase was for the individual product, while the later price applies to a different sales configuration (the bundle).
However, if you originally purchased the same bundle and the publicly displayed price of that same bundle is subsequently reduced, the price difference may be eligible for the Price Guarantee, provided that all other Price Guarantee conditions are met.
For example:
You purchase a HiBattery 4020 AC Bundle for:
€2,299
Later, the same bundle with the same products and accessories is publicly displayed at:
€2,299€1,999
The eligible price difference is:
€2,299 − €1,999 = €300
You may therefore be eligible for a €300 price adjustment.
The Price Guarantee applies to the price difference of the same product or bundle configuration and does not apply when comparing an individual product with a different bundle configuration.
6.6 Flash Sale – Not Eligible
You purchase a product for:
€1,999
Later, Hoymiles launches a limited-time Flash Sale offering the product for:
€1,699
The Flash Sale price is not eligible for the Price Guarantee because Flash Sale prices are excluded from this policy.
6.7 Advertising or EDM Price – Not Eligible
You purchase a product for:
€2,299€1,999
Later, an EDM, advertising banner, social media post, or third-party website advertises the same product at:
€1,799
However, the relevant product detail page on the Hoymiles Official Online Store continues to display:
€2,299€1,999
The €1,799 price is not eligible because it is not the publicly displayed selling price on the relevant product detail page(PDP).
No price adjustment will be made based on the external advertising price.
7. Exclusion of Shipping Costs, VAT and Other Charges
The 30-Day Price Guarantee applies only to the eligible product selling price.
The following costs and charges are not included in the Price Guarantee calculation:
- Shipping and delivery charges
- VAT (Value Added Tax)
- Other taxes
- Customs duties
- Payment fees
- Installation fees
- Any other additional charges
The Price Guarantee does not apply to changes in shipping costs, VAT rates, taxes, duties, or other additional charges.
Example
At the time of purchase, the total amount paid is:
Product price (including VAT):
€1,999
Shipping:
€50
Total:
€2,049
Later, the publicly displayed prices are reduced:
Product price (including VAT):
€1,849
Shipping:
€0
Total:
€1,849
The total price difference is €200. However, the €200 difference consists of:
Product price reduction:
€1,999 − €1,849 = €150
Shipping cost reduction:
€50 − €0 = €50
Only the €150 reduction in the eligible product selling price is considered for the Price Guarantee.
The €50 reduction in shipping costs is not eligible for a price adjustment.
The eligible price adjustment is therefore €150, subject to all other requirements of this policy.
8. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 30-Day Price Guarantee:
- The product must have been purchased directly from the Hoymiles Official Online Store.
- The request must be submitted within 30 days from the exact date and time the original order was placed.
- The lower price must be publicly displayed on the relevant product detail page (PDP) of the Hoymiles Official Online Store during the applicable Price Guarantee period.
- The lower price must apply to the same product, model, and configuration.
- The lower price must be a regular selling price or a publicly displayed promotional selling price.
- The lower price must not result from an excluded coupon, promotional code, bundle, Flash Sale, personalized offer, or other excluded promotion.
- The lower price must not apply to refurbished, used, open-box, damaged, clearance, or otherwise specially conditioned products that differ from the product originally purchased.
- Shipping costs, VAT, taxes, duties, and other additional charges are excluded from the calculation.
9. How to Request a Price Adjustment ?
If you believe your order qualifies for the 30-Day Price Guarantee, please contact Hoymiles Customer Service within the applicable 30-day period and provide your order number.
Our customer service team will verify:
- The original order date and time
- The product and configuration purchased
- The original eligible product selling price
- The applicable public selling price on the relevant product detail page
- Any coupon or discount applied to the original order
- The applicable Price Guarantee calculation
Hoymiles may verify the relevant prices and order information through its internal records and the Hoymiles Official Online Store.
Once Hoymiles has received all information and documentation necessary to evaluate the request, Hoymiles will review the request and provide a decision within 3 business days.
If the request is approved, the eligible price difference will be refunded to the original payment method used for the purchase within 7 business days after the approval decision is communicated.
10. Price Adjustment Calculation
Unless otherwise specified in this policy, the eligible price adjustment is calculated as:
Price Adjustment = Original Eligible Product Price − New Eligible Public Product Price
If a coupon code was used on the original order, the applicable calculation is:
Price Adjustment = Original Product Order Amount − (New Eligible Public Product Price × Original Coupon Discount Rate)
Shipping costs, VAT, taxes, duties, and other additional charges are excluded from the calculation.
The price adjustment cannot exceed the amount actually paid for the eligible product.
11. Important Notes
- 30-Day Price Guarantee is only valid for the orders placed and the selling price listed on Hoymiles Official Online Store.
- The 30-Day Price Guarantee does not guarantee that the product price will remain unchanged for 30 days.
- The Price Guarantee applies only to publicly displayed product selling prices on the relevant product detail page of the Hoymiles Official Online Store.
- External advertising, EDM banners, affiliate content, influencer content, social media posts, third-party websites, screenshots, or other external materials do not constitute eligible evidence of a lower price unless the same price is publicly displayed on the relevant Hoymiles product detail page.
- The Price Guarantee does not apply to discounts or prices resulting from coupon codes, newly issued promotional codes, bundle offers, Flash Sales, personalized promotions, or other excluded promotional mechanisms.
- If a coupon was used on the original order, the original coupon discount rate may be applied to the new eligible promotional price when calculating the price adjustment.
- The Price Guarantee is limited to the same product, model, and configuration purchased in the original order.
- Hoymiles reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each request and determine the applicable price adjustment in accordance with this policy.
- Hoymiles reserves the right to modify this policy from time to time. Any modification will not affect Price Guarantee claims that have already been validly submitted before the effective date of the change.
This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. Any matters not addressed herein shall be governed by the Terms of Service. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Terms of Service, this Policy shall prevail.
