HiBattery 1920 AC Installation Guide

Before Installation

To ensure safe and reliable operation:

• Place the unit on a stable, level surface or securely mount it on a wall.
• Keep the installation area dry, well-ventilated, and protected from direct sunlight.
• Ensure adequate space around the unit for airflow and maintenance.
• Verify that all cables and connectors are free from damage.
• Do not connect or disconnect cables while the system is operating.

Step 1: Position the HiBattery 1920 AC

Floor Installation

1. Place the battery near your microinverter and a grounded household power outlet.
2. Ensure the unit stands upright on a flat and stable surface.
3. Leave sufficient clearance around the battery for ventilation.

Wall Installation (Optional)

1. Install the wall bracket according to the mounting instructions.
2. Secure the bracket firmly to the wall.
3. Attach the mounting hardware to the battery.
4. Carefully hang the battery onto the bracket.
5. Verify that the battery is securely mounted before proceeding.

Step 2: Connect the Microinverter

1. Locate the supplied Off-Grid MS Cable.
2. Connect the microinverter AC output cable to the Off-Grid MS Cable.
3. Open the AC Off-Grid port on the HiBattery 1920 AC.
4. Insert the connector until it is fully seated.
5. Tighten the locking ring to secure the connection.

Step 3: Connect to the Household Grid

1. Connect the Plug-and-Play AC Cable to the Grid AC port on the HiBattery 1920 AC.
2. Plug the other end into a grounded household power outlet.
3. Ensure all connections are secure and properly locked.

Step 4: Power On the Battery

1. Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 1–2 seconds.
2. The display will illuminate and the system will begin its startup sequence.
3. Wait until the battery completes initialization.

Step 5: Connect to the S-Miles Home App

1. Download the S-Miles Home app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create an account or log in.
3. Tap Add Device.
4. Scan the device QR code or follow the in-app setup instructions.
5. Connect the battery to your Wi-Fi network.
6. Complete device registration.

Step 6: Configure Your System

After the battery is successfully added:

• Set your preferred operating mode.
• Configure charging and discharging schedules if desired.
• Pair a compatible smart meter for advanced energy management (optional).
• Available modes may include:
• Self-Consumption Mode
• Time-of-Use (TOU) Mode
• Smart Meter Mode

Step 7: Confirm Proper Operation

Check that:

• The battery is online in the S-Miles Home app
• Battery level is displayed correctly
• Power flow data is visible
• Charging and discharging functions operate normally
• No warning or error messages are shown

Your HiBattery 1920 AC is now installed and ready to power your home with clean, reliable energy.
